Is there any evidence of that or was it just agent talk. Fact remains he seems to have a strange half life in terms of his place in the Rovers set up

A member of his family told me his scholarship contract ended in the summer and although he became a free agent Tranmere would be entitled to compensation as his developing club if a professional club came in for him within a couple of years.

In the one game in which I saw him play-Maidstone in 2016- he looked really impressive to my untutored eye. Strange one!
