Rovers Rearguard website had this at the end of June, it was indicating that Boreham Wood had agreed the dealbut Ferrier didn't want to come up North.

Could well be the case, these things have a habit of finding there way to press from agents in order to generate interest elsewhere

He should come up North, he would like the North, it has it's attractions and the Wirral does have a marina and a gardens and a few golf courses, so there's a few interesting things for him to get his teeth into.

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.

Totally Matt, why would he not want to live here? Birkenhead on a night out, knocks spots off Soho in London. You will only come home with a black eye and not totally skint after a night out.

He only has to ask Larnall Cole what a night out in Birkovegas is like...not that Larnall can probably remember much about his one after Wembley lol

Interesting that Walsall has gone for two strikers from the national. Presumably thy think that both can bridge the gap between national and Div 1

To think he didn't want to come up north. I know the midlands is not the north but what's the difference between people who say allroit mate and people who say alhright lad? Can't be that much.

Just dawned on me now after watching his celebration back.

Maybe Ferrier was the issue and not his agent, if we’re honest he looked like a right plum the way he celebrated and everything that was said about his agent seems to be the sort of thing that that person last night would’ve done.

Made an enemy of fans for no reason whatsoever, or maybe he’s still sore at the Wembley loss...?

No doubt in my mind Ferrier is a W****r, however couldnt help but think how much better we would look with him in the team rather than Stockton, not trying to knock Cole and I hope he goes on to do well but thought he was very poor last night

Morgan Ferrier's provocative action towards the Tranmere fans at the Kop was totally unacceptable and could have had serious consequences had they reacted. The FA take these incidents very seriously and I hope the referee includes this incident in his match report.

What is this myth that players should respect the Kop, “disrespecting” opposing fans is a football thing, Vardy does it every week.

There’s a difference between sliding over to the opposing fans and walking over as he did last night.

For him to get a booking for it also would suggest that even the ref found it inappropriate!

Also was king at winding oppo fans up. Don't have a problem with it, part of the banter for me. If we dish it out you have to take it back.

Ferrier acting like a name was funny though, made a proper mug of himself in front of excitable kids.

Just a bit of fun innit. I enjoyed it.

As for serious consequences, everyone just needs to take responsibility for their actions. Besides we've just boosted his ego by reacting like that.

Perhaps next time someone is doing a silly dance after scoring we should just have a chat with the person next to us and behave like we never noticed

Cook was a past master at the goading celebration and not too many of us were offended. Ferrier looked a good league player on last night's showing and he would have been a good acquisition.
