Just seen a tweet from the Official Cub Twitter feed.

We've signed Gilmour on a short loan until January 2019.

I hope this is an addition and that he's not coming in to replace Ollie Norburn who has been the subject of a few bids over the Summer?

I would imagine it is aimed at bulking up squad numbers whilst avoiding adding a long contract to the books

Yeh , we only have 3 natural centre mids don’t forget.

Highly regarded, promising youngster. Positive

Can play on the left side of midfield too so an option for a couple of positions.

Encouraging that there seems to be lots of creativity in the squad. Lots of bullets potentially but we will need more up-front to fire them.

Sorry in advance, but if he turns out to be a visionary midfield maestro, I can hear the Kop singing "Looking through Harvey Gilmour's eyes" to the tune of the "classic" from the Adverts (one for the ex-punks!).

LOL.. He is not the son or grandson of the Pink Floyd guitarist Dave Gilmour, is he? LOL. I think he fathered about 10 kids from 2 or 3 marriages.

Nice one Phil, Gary Gilmore eh , demanded that his execution go ahead, if I remember. we must have been 'Bored Teenagers' back then, lol

Gary don't need his eyes to see, Gary and his eyes have parted company,

Tim TV Smith and Gayle Advert.

The running joke.

What is the difference between the Adverts and the Damned? The Damned know two chords and the Adverts only know one chord.

What is the difference between the Adverts and the Damned? The Adverts still only know one chord, but the Damned have now learned a third chord.

The running joke ended there.

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.
