Is Kai Tonga the step brother of the former Wrexham striker Dai Kwando?

Seriously though I liked the look of him and hopefully he might get a full game on Tuesday. He has raw pace, appears to have good ball control. Not bad for a lad who only took up football 2 years ago.

It's Tonge not Tonga which is a island in the South Pacific.

I liked the look of him as well. OK he is a bit raw but there is plenty there for the coaching staff to work with. Given time there is a more than decent player there. Certainly worth a punt IMO.

Is McNulty really Majorca then? He’s about the size of island.

Doubt we will sign him. Fast, yes but not much else imo

Agreed. I thought he was very average at Warrington as kept running into culdesacs. To my mind would represent a gamble that MM doesn't need to take

Only seen him once at Warrington and I think you're being generous.

For me we released Jack Dunn, Elliot Rokka and Devarn green all of whom were deemed not good enough for us in the VNL hence they weren't brought to league 2. I have nothing against getting non league players at all, Cook has gone league one and others make the jump easily after having proved themselves in the VNL, even Johnny Smith played VNL last season and looks a baller BUT tonga has only been playing for a couple of years at a very low level and if the 3 lads named were not good enough for us in the VNL hence they havent been brought with us to the EFL i can't see him making the step to league 2 just yet. He is a very raw diamond and with our budget being thin and needing a striker i cant't see us getting him tbh.

Incidentally, Rokka was on the bench for Crewe tonight.

I see that the keeper we had on loan from Fylde last season, Rhys Taylor, has signed for Macc.
