I know he's called Jonny.

Seemed a decent player when we played Fylde and some much needed competition on the wings.

Jonny Smith has joined Tranmere Rovers on loan for the 2018/19 season.
The City player is set to be named in the Super White Army’s squad to face Liverpool tonight (July 10th).
The 20-year-old winger spent last season on loan with AFC Fylde, where has named the club’s New Player of the Year.
While Smith joins Tranmere Rovers on a season-long loan, City do have the option to recall him in January.

Thanks for that trfc-boi.

I remember him playing on both sides if my memory serves me right, looked better on the right cutting in on his left foot though!

Better than Ginelly and maybe a tip to the fact that Tollitt's not back to full fitness yet.

Another positive acquisition pacey player. We may not have "sorted" the situation up top in many fans eyes but if we are able to create more chances then I see Norwood picking up 15-20 goals an increase in goals from elsewhere is surely the bigger priority therefore than another forward

Did he score Fylde's goal at PP?

If it is the same player, he looked pretty decent in that game.

Be good to see if we can get Carl Sberg in from Denmark, Henna Ken from the Netherlands and Danny Ings brother Carl.

Brilliant signing, those who sit in JK will remember him running us ragged last season, let’s hope he continues playing like that for us. Best signing of this season in my opinion.

Any potential signings called Foster on the horizon, or maybe a Chinese player called Chang.

However if Micky Mellon signs some guy from a country like Borneo called Firewater, maybe a raised eyebrow or two from certain quarters might be the order of the day.

Now now Micky, a broad spectrum recruitment policy is all nice and well and progressive, but are you pushing the idea to the nth degree with this one?

No, no, it's well known Borneo footballers can eat up the pitch.

What about the opposition?

No, as a rule they generally don't eat them, well not the kind of players I'm aware of like my new guy Firewater; I believe he will be more professional than that and besides nibbling players is against the rule book even for Uruguayan superstars.

Are you referring to anyone in particular Micky?

No, just quoting you some basic footballing regulation "insert wink here".

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.
