Ok so without trying to get too excited given we beat Lairds 9-0 and some thought Alabi was a prospect last pre-season a few immediate questions for those in the know....
We scored a few goals but from Twitter we didn't sound that great.
How bad were Dunfermline?
How did we play given the opposition and did the Triallists/ Youth do any good?
Where was Rides? No suggestion he was injured?
Where is Waring? Surely he needed a pre- season. Has he been moved on?
Is Dyrsdale still with club or officially gone?

Rides IS injured and did not go to Scotland.

Honestly was a nothing game, only thing we took from it was a little time for the players to gel some more.

In future we need to be playing an SPL side as they kept the ball ok for the first 25mins but I still believe i’d have more chance of getting a shot on target from over the other side of the Forth.

Youth players were better than against Solihull, fairly sure #12 on the day was Walker-Rice and we should look into a pro contract for him.

Bet he was gutted, he must have thought he’d be at home enjoying the England game.

The number of injuries we seem to pick up outside of matches must be some kind of record. Don't know what Ridehalgh's injury is but hopefully it won't disrupt his preseason too much, even though he's suspended for the opening league game(s).
