Richard Hinds
13 April, 2018 21:36
From time to time ex players come to the matches and it is interesting to see what they are doing now. On Tuesday there was an ex player in the lounge with his children. It took me sometime to realise it was Richard Hinds. He played for us nearly 20 years ago and was a decent centre half who played about 50 plus league games for us before playing for Sheffield Wednesday and Scunthorpe. He was highly rated at both clubs.
I wondered what he was doing now and whether he was still playing. He is actually listed as being at Llandudno as assistant manager but those days I think have passed.
So how has he prepared for a life after football. In fact he decided to do a law degree and obtained a first class honours degree. He is clearly a bright lad and has a good future in front of him.
Congratulations and well done Richard!

Brighter than referees at this level who cannot even manage the laws of the game

That assumes that none of the referees in the NL possess any educational achievements, that could be categorised as a degree of any kind.

I admit it's highly unlikely though.

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.
