Maidstone Utd Sat 24 Feb - Village Hotel room sale
27 December, 2017 21:34
Anyone interested, just a heads up that Village Hotels, Maidstone have rooms for £29 on the Saturday evening we play them away, I know some SWA like to make a weekend of it, enjoy, not a ground I’ve visited yet.

Pity the match isn't being screened on satellite TV, or people could spend £29 to stay in the Village Hotel in Bromborough and watch the match on TV, then the money they would have spent on petrol or public transport costs, could be diverted to mini bar and room service charges.

At least that way win lose or draw, someone will be able to seek comfort, or celebrate wildly, with a beef sandwich and a miniature Drambuie.

Feb 24th is FA Trophy 4th round day so if Maidstone win two more rounds our game down there will be postponed.

On a similar note, if Ebbsfleet win in the 2nd round (they play Warrington at home on Jan 13th) then our home game with them on Feb 3rd will also need to be rearranged as that's the day of the 3rd round.

Hopefully they won't win. I'd prefer Warrington to win compared to Ebbsfleet. No question Ebbsfleet could benefit well from a juicy third rounder, but Warrington being a lower division club would benefit even more and in relative terms they are a semi-local club.
