See that Barnsley have been taken over by a chinese billionaire.. Was wondering with Rovers dealings out in China, will we soon be laden with cash???

I think Barnsley have an advantage over us, firstly they are a Championship Club one step up puts them in the top tier.

Us on the other hand languish mid table in fifth tier of non league football otherwise known as the top tier of the pub leagues set up not the best PR to get investment.

Different investors tbh.

Ours is from the Chinese Government for developing football in China.

There's is Chinese businessmen trying to buy the next Man City / Chelsea.

I have a nephew involved in Tranmere's Chinese project, he thinks it could be a decent investment for Rovers, but it will take a while to show fruition.
