We might have ourselves a pretty decent player. Thought he was excellent in that grimsby side the season before last.

Wasn't he at Hartlepool last season?

I've just checked and it is who I was thinking of.

Scored 30 goals the year Grimsby got promoted, and 14 last season in a @#$%& Hartlepool side.

Still under contract though, so could be the player we're meant to be buying?

Interesting! (And good)

We didn't have anybody who held the number 16 shirt last season

Why would Hartlepool sell their star striker to a promotion rival ? He's still under contract and I doubt we could afford a fee that would persuade them to sell.

Anyone can change Wikipedia

Well his page is now saying Hartlepool and his number is 16. Is someone playing silly beggars??

Just watched his clips and I can see why we would sign him though. Replacement for Stockton in the making.

I thought it was a good choice.I have watched him, play for Southport and he showed the enthusiasm we needed. His one match at Tranmere I have seen he showed the same enthusiasm and desire for goals. I cannot understand why he is never selected. Give him a chance

Couldnt agree more dafydd i saw him when york played southport last season he was amazing, scoring a wonder goal.

Look how connor improved once he had a run in the macc team

He was not good enough to start games for a woeful Southport side.It was always an illogical signing for a team aspiring to win the league. Connor Jennings is no comparison for he would have been a first pick at a club like Southport. Improving a player that is already good enough for selection is a valid part of coaching.Improving an already experienced player as distinct from a youngster, is a quite different matter. The average signing lasts two years so at his age have to be able to impact immediately

No, that's rumoured to be Ollie Palmer.

Will he recline as gracefully on the turf. And as long. Rheady's getting on a bit he'll probably get pressure sores next season.

I think some people are getting Padraig Amond and Louis Almond confused.
