Do you think if we don't get playoffs, our better players will leave for league clubs. I read a while back on Twitter (not the best source I know) that Wednesday are interested in Norwood, and even if it's not Wednesday, 20 goals a season will attract at least League 1. Davies has been exemplary in net for us too, and I can't see him staying for another season of conference football. Will we be able to replace our best players if they do leave next season?

Think that was a different Norwood that Wednesday are looking at.

To be fair 20 goals in this league is not all that. Davies though definately, been consistent and was a great aquisition

the norwood situation is funny, were only in with a shout of the play offs because of his 20 plus goals but had he scored the 40 he should have we`d have got automatic promotion but if he was capable of scoring the 40 he`d be playing in the champiuonship, funny old game football

I think you'll find its Oliver Norwood who's caught the eye of Wednesday.

He currently plays in midfield for Reading.

Wouldn't be surprised if we lost Norwood to a league 2 club

Over the season Davies had made to pretty basic errors. Whilst I agree, he has had a good season, I wouldn't say enough to to move above league 2. So for him to leave, it would rely on a team from the league above coming in for him. Better the devil you know I would say.

Both could readily find league clubs and both would be massive losses.Norwood in particular given the absence of any other significant contribution on the scoring front.
For those who look at ex players as an answer Lowe can counted out as he has agreed to go to Crewe.
If we are looking to build a side that can go for double promotion then I am not sorry as I would far rather see a younger player than a declining 37 year old

I think otomola can fill a gap of sorts. I can't say I've seen too much of him, but when I have watched him he's scored everytime. Granted it'd be unfair to dump lots of pressure on him, but I think next year he deserves to be weened in to the side, and I think eventually he can lead our line

Davies played over 200 times in the league, he could do it again.

They would be losses, both of them, but not irreplaceable, especially if you get fees and plow that back into wages for the next 4-6 years, but hopefully they will stay.

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.
