First of all we have Chesterfield who will most likely be up for it having been beaten tonight and do not lose two leagues on the trot(last and only time that happened back in October)and will be out to win on Saturday were as Les will try to hang on to the one point we have and attack with one up front then come Notts County at home last October we had 25pts
and they had 27pts since then they have won some games and now have 49pts to our 34pts so in the same time scale they have gained 22pts and we have pulled in a grand total of 9pts so they are on a run of results were we are on a run of failure so we will be lucky to gain any thing out of the next two games at best two points if Chesterfield shut up shop and do not attack
and Notts Co have an off day, it does not look good.

We should have nothing to fear from chesterfield if we are positive and take the game to them, on the other hand .....

Chesterfield will go the same way all games have gone recently:

We score in the first half after playing some good stuff, we then spend the second 45 minutes defending deep and allow Chesterfield back into the game. We may hold out for a point but by handing them the incentive we will probably crack and lose 2-1.

or

We completely fall apart concede a couple of goals in the first half. Concede none in the second manage to score 1 and allow Les to claim we won the second half

or

Concede a solitary goal in a scrappy dour game and dont create anything ourselves losing 1-0.

There is nothing I have seen recently to say we will get anything at Chesterfield, Notts County always seem to beat us at home in recent years with Lee Hughes seemingly loving every minute. Again we will make hard work of it and if we suffer defeat at Chesterfield the atmosphere for the County game could very well turn toxic.

Lee Hughes was sent off last night, reportedly for violent conduct, so at least we won't be facing him this time around.

As my recent slum in the predictor league would suggest I have been trying to keep the faith! I reckon a draw at the weekend thaen a win against Notts! A four point haul in the next two games, you heard it here first! Onwards and upwards!(Sm134)

I predict a win at Chesterfield, but a loss at Notts County, we may just survive but games are running out.

Jonny L has pretty much summed up the usual scnearios of all of our games since October.

Sub, ive seen the sending off it could yet be overturned if they appeal as looked a bit harsh.

i would love to think we will go on a winning spree and pull away from the drop zone and be safe for yet another year ,but to be honest i cant see us doing it under the hapless les parry , and i am afraid we are stuck with the bafoon till july ,

Lee Hughes appealing for what he sees as a harsh decision. I wonder if he did that when he killed those people in a drunk drive incident, or did he take the 3 years with good grace.

Never liked him ever since he got out and was given a lifeline by Oldham, only to praise them for their magnanimous offer of football again one moment, then leave within 12 months to join County.

He just comes across as a person with a bad attitude to life and someone who would sell a relatives Kidney for some beer money.

I hope he loses the appeal, but I doubt the incident in question will teach him anything about future footballing conduct.

Tranmere owe them for the last two cheating lucky results, so I hope the team mangle them.

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.

With Les in charge i fear the worst in both matches! You'd like to think we could take all three points at Chesterfield but Parry's negative tactics and nervous players without confidence on a horrendous run could cost us AGAIN!!
