Alan has been told no new contract from Brighton and will leave imminently. Worth a punt? Championship experience, can't be worse than Welsh.

Can't see it happening myself.

Welsh has been captain, and Ronnie has already said that he does the 'unsung' role. He's younger and has openly said he wants to stay next season.

Can't see there being much point in offering him a contract unless Welsh leaves, but who knows. Ronnie may be looking for another midfielder in more of a holding role that will allow the wingers to bomb forward more.

I still think it's early days in seeing which players will be released by other clubs, and more importantly the players that we'll retain over the next few weeks.

Paid £100,000 for his original transfer from Liverpool and he failed to deliver !

Crackers to consider signing him again !!!

He's different now though. He's matured more and played at MK Dons and Brighton, so yes I think worth consideration or a trial at least.

Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.
