Loyal to the Cause?

In this Era of Mega-Buck, there is no loyalty unless they are homegrown from the Academy, and foreginers not from Spain and Italy where their premier leagues are a match to English premeirship league.

French player, Dutch player and Scandinavian palyers do not have a mega-buck leagues and they tend to stay loyal to their English clubs...unless mega-buck moves to Spain or Italy.

Build up a Spine of English and British talents - Walcott, Ramsey, Wilshere, Gibbs, Randall, Lansbury, Jay Thomas, Kyle Bartley, Murphy, Benik Afobe, etc plus French players liek COquelin, Traore, SUnuu, Ddutch palyers like barazite and that TUrkish guy,...that is your 'core" of loyal players which has the greatest probability of ending their career wiht an ENglish club.

Fabregas? Merida?
Depending on success of Arsenal, they wil stay or leave, Open verdict.

i agree that it is almost difficult to find players who stay loyal to the course in this football generation.money seems to be the all and all.this i fear wil make it harder for wenger to build a new generation of great players.

The only players that have a chance to stay loyal to teh club are when they are yougnsters coming through the rank of Academy as 15-16 year old.
And homegrown from Hale End as 8-9 year old.

ANd the best way to keep players loyal is to start to dominate Premeirship and Europe thsi season as no players will want to elave a title wining side when adequate compensated with pay rises during contract negotiaitons.

Like Kolo, CLichy and Sagna whose contract negotiaitons were swift.

We wait for Darren Dein to re-negotiate Fabregas' contract extension from 2014 to 2016 with a apy rise from 50,000 to 80,000 pw.
It wil be a test of loyalty from Fabregas now - Money or Loyalty to CLub?
