Santi Stunned

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

A lot of our players with great potential succumbed to weird or bad injuries -Diaby, Rosicky, Eduardo, Santi any more? They would have been great for us without those injuries I'm sure. You could add Ramsey to that list, that leg break would have taken time to get back and be at his best.

The only one who succumbed was Diaby. All the rest had or still do have careers. Diaby never did really.

Yes, but they had a lot of time out and didn't fulfill their potential at Arsenal.Rosicky was class, but had that funny thigh or hamstring injury, Eduardo looked like he was set to be a great for us. Santi had some great games for us but spent a lot of time side-lined. we never really got the best from them through injury.

Not sure why we let Eduardo go, he seemed over his injury

Ed had lost that quickness of feet and lost a yard, even though he wasn't quick, but then never was RVP. Eduardo would have been a useful striker but we had RVP with (who also had his injury problems of course).

We did overall good in the transfer market, except for the sales of Henry, cesc and Nasri. We very far less money for the level they were at.

Essentially we are back to that survival mode of having to buy young and selling them on profit to build other assets of the squad
