Well that's the end of the dire Mavropanos conspiracy theory. Yes the team could be stronger, but we have Napoli on Thursday and then another match on 21 April, 3 games in 6.5 days

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

Not surprised AMN and Kolasinac have been given a rest. They were both absolutely exhausted at the final whistle on Thursday. Both of them basically collapsed when the whistle went because they ran so much.

Big save from Leno after Xhaka messes up in the penalty area

They look like they've got a man up. They look the more likely to score next. Come on Arsenal, get a grip.

Leno just pushed the guy away!

We don't seem to have a clue what to do when we get into the final third. I used to say that when Wenger was in charge!! We need another goal, Watford look more dangerous than us in attack.

Poor half, but we're in the lead with a man up. We need to make that tell second half.

Don't look like we've got a numerical advantage at all.

Is Mkhitaryan really on the pitch? Absolute passenger.

Ramsey and Mkhitaryan have been a waste of space. Get Laca and Ozil on for them!

Two wayward shots from Myki, at least get them on target.

Watford looking dangerous. Maybe Laca can come on and exploit their fatigue.

Iwobi is soo infuriating with his decision making and awful passing. Should be nowhere near first team.

Something to cheer, the rot has stopped our first away clean sheet of the season, something to build on.
We could have had a hatful of goals

Frustrating match to watch but 3pts is all that matters.

I don't see us playing this bad vs Napoli. Emery has to play an attacking team and go for that one goal that will kill their crowd.

If he sets us up to defend, it'll get interesting.

Napoli sold their best player in Hamsik which is a big miss for them.

Vital 3 points. Clean sheet. Back in the top 4.

And lots of players got a rest. We got away with it big time. It was a risk to rotate in the way that he did, taking off Torreira and Ramsey, but he got away with so it was a risk worth taking.

that's 2 away games that Ozil has drifted through without making any impact. If we can only rely on him to put in a performance at the Emirates then it really isn't worth keeping him around.

Just finished watching the game.
Vital 3 points but a terrible performance.
Not a bloody clue at times.

And just when you thought the defence can't get any worse up pops Mavropanos .

Thats too harsh on Mavropanos - its his first Premiership game for a year - every defender needs a few games to get into the rhythm of matches

He will never make a quality c/back.
Clumsy and always liable to get a red.

Any foosball lovers out there had to enjoy watching Auba put that keeper's effort straight back into the goal. It is rare to see that relatively common foosball move in real life.

Plus he's only 21. It's too early to tell if he'll be any good.

First game for the senior team, back from long term injury and away to Watford. Baptism of fire. A decent performance from Mavropanos if u ask me.
