Seems to have become a bit of a star in Greece:

Yeah I follow him on Instagram. He is doing really really well. Seems like Ike every time he posts anything he's just scored or assisted. I thought he was on loan and a little annoyed to realise it was a perm move

He was dreadful in England. He's supposed to be a forward and I think it took him 3 seasons of football to score a competitive goal.

He makes Emile Heskey look prolific.

Some highly productive players (Bale, Kane, Diego Costa) need xtra time and opportunity.

I get some players are late bloomers but I can assure you Chuba Akpom is no Bale, Kane or Diego Costa either.

Chuba probably is in the same boat as another of our prodigies Quincy Owusu. Good technically but lacked that certain edge to be an effective top level forward. If you remember Quincy was touted as a future superstar with his exceptional dribbling skills and pace. I agree with Bootydaddy, Chuba was never going to make it at the top level, and mind you, he was given a lot of first team opportunities.

Won the league unbeaten and today he scored an overhead kick winner in the Greek Cup final

Ha ha nearly forgot Quincy, the player who used to stepover his own stepovers. I wish he had done better. I think he went to Russia, how did he finish up?

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

Good on him but as far as being a good player goes, according to wiki he's scored 6 in 20 league games, or 8 in 32 total.

At best he has a 1 goal in every 3 or 4 games ratio ... in a s.hit league.
