Team against Rennes - Time to drop off-form Auba?

Not impressed by Auba in January.
He is hitting a wall and having problem scoring in open plays and linking up plays are awful. He is no winger nor playmaker like Kane or Salah or Rashford, forwards linking up well with team-mates.

The good news is that Mkhi is hitting form and he had recovered from a slight injury and should start in place of Auba at right-side.

laca is our best centre-forward now and is an starter in that position with his predatory instinct in the box, ability to hold the ball and the technical skills to create a split-second of space to shoot at goal. Pity is shooting boots are as bad as Auba.
But let's hope he continues his scoring streak at homw.

No excuse not to field our strongest attacking team as our next game is on 1 April.

Mustafi?
We just hope for the best as there are no more fit CB available … unless Emery willing to gamble with Lichsteiner?
Lichsteiner is far better than AMN at wing-back. AMN or Lichsteiner?

Cech?
Time to drop him and play Leno in this "must-win"game.
We cannot afford to indulge in nostalgia with him.

….. ….. ….. ….. ….. Leno

….. Mustafi … … Koscielny … Monreal

… Maitland-Niles … Xhaka … Ramsey … Kolasinac

….. ….. ….. ….. ….. Ozil

….. ….. ….. Mkhitaryan … Lacazette

This team is worth at least 2 goals with Ozil and Mkhi creating at least 10+ goal scoring chances. Will Laca takes at least 2 of them?

Well now that Lacca ban cut to two maybe best to play them both

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.
