Yay, our chances of winning have improved. Why was it reduced?

Very good news.

“The appeal lodged by Arsenal FC has been partially upheld. To suspend the Arsenal FC player Alexandre Lacazette for two (2) Uefa competition matches for which he would be otherwise eligible for serious rough play.

"Note: Lacazette has already served the two-match suspension following Arsenal FC’s Uefa Europa League matches - round of 32 second-leg match against BATE Borisov on February 21, and round of 16 first-leg match against Rennes on March 7."

Play them both - getting 2 goals apiece.

With Laca back in, what is our best goal-scoring line-up?

--------------- Leno

Mustafi ----- Koscielny ----- Monreal

-------------- Xhaka

Iwobi ----------------------- Kolasinac

-------------- Ramsey

-------------- Ozil

--- Lacazette -------- Aubameyang

In-form Leno preferred over Cech even though he was not really at fault in the earlier loss.
Mustafi in over a suspended Sokratis is a HUGE drop off. No other options here.
Prefer Xhaka-Ramsey over Torreira-Guendouzi in the centre ... more offensive-minded.
Kolasinac pushes the action on the left.
Just a hunch that Iwobi can do the same on the right side and is therefore preferred over Maitland-Niles.
Let's see if Ozil can create some magic at home against a lower-tier opponent.
Put the strike partners up top together to trade passes and shots on goal.

Assuming that Lichtsteiner and Mkhtaryan are out injured.
Bench: Cech, Torreira, Guendouzi, Maitland-Niles, Elneny, Suarez, Nketiah

I think 3 was a bit harsh, it wasnt that violent and the guy kept fouling him, but hopefully Lacca has learned his lesson

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.
