WHatever happened to Mavropanos, Joe Willock?

Mavropanos was trumpeted as the next best thing since sliced bread.
And both Chambers and Bielik went out on-loan with Mavropanos was supposedly to take the place of a regular CB.

He is fit but not featured at all, even against Rennes.
Same as Willock. He did not even featured against Rennes with Elneny ahead of him.

AMN, Nketiah, WIllock.
Doubt they will be still around next season with Emery expected to cull all those from Wenger Era.
Unless of course, it is Unai Emery who may gets the boot in the summer; bottling out of Top-4 when it is still a realistic target for the last 9 games; i.e. just win all 9 games.

Back to Mavropanos.
There is some reports that he lacks composure and apprehensive when under pressure.
if it is true, he will not make it and no better than Senderos, Djourou and Mustafi.
Will he get a few games to gauge what kind of player he is?

'I like the total intensification, where there are crashes and bangs everywhere, pure adrenaline and no one being able to breathe' Jurgen Klopp.

I am not sure what the situation is with Mavropanos, I thought he has only recently recovered from an injury that lasted most of this season?

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

Once again was that due to fact he had only just recovered from his injury?

On the subject of youth players congratulations to Daniel Ballard who has been named in the Northern Ireland senior team, at the age of just 19.

Reward for a very good season at U23 level.
