Player Ratings vs. BATE

Cech - 5. Nowhere near their goal.

Mustafi - 5. Didn't do a great deal either way.
Koscielny - 5. Done well recently but didn't think he looked comfortable tonight.
Monreal - 5. Had a lot to do with Kolasinac ahead of him.

Maitland-Niles - 4. Sloppy. Got forward but gave away the ball a lot.
Xhaka - 4. Got booked and that was about his only impact. Poor.
Guendouzi - 5. I mean at least he tried to get the ball forward, but some of his passing was sloppy and he got caught in possession a few times.
Kolasinac - 4. Best attacking threat again, creating a couple of chances and missing one or two himself. Embarrassing attempt to win a header for BATE's goal.

Mkhitaryan - 3. Missed our best chance right at the start. Played the rest of the match and I can't recall a single positive thing he did.
Lacazette - 3. His first touch was awful, he headed a good chance over and he got sent off for a stupid elbow. Awful evening.
Iwobi - 4. Able to find Kolasinac with the occasional cutting pass but otherwise is just so wasteful with the ball.

Subs:

Aubameyang - 4. Did nothing.
Torreira - 4. ".
Suarez - 3. Weak, nervous, wasteful.

Awful. We were good for the first 10 minutes or so and awful thereafter, butttttttttttt its only 1-0 and we play the second leg at home!

No creativity or quality in attack at all tonight. We've got Ozil sat at home playing Fortnite and posting on social media because there's something bigger going on with him and the club, plus we've sold/ loaned out literally EVERY SINGLE natural winger we had over the last couple of years and signed NONE, meaning our ENTIRE attack relies on getting the wing backs in behind.

Actually think 4 was generous for Suarez. Have changed ratings accordingly.

Suarez looks like Bambi. Pretty boy lightweight. Not my kind of footballer at all.

Emery 0 for a horrid team selection.

We dont have enough leaders on the pitch to win difficult away games where the main quality you need is character.

Someone like cesc would have dragged us through that game single handedly. We don't have anyone who can do that in the current squad.

Yes and we will probably buy him knowing us.

Emery has to take a lot of blame for tonight, it was a bad evening, but the players have to lack some blame as well. They were shockingly bad. So many players need moving on and so many areas need strengthening.

Currently every aspect of the club seems to be absolutely sh*te at the moment. Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke can all be blamed for that.

I've tried to see a positive in Iwobi my brother thinks hes great but someone please tell me what does he actually contribute. He is not alone our two strikers must be extremely frustrated because they get no service at all.Stewart I hate Arsenal Robson was castigating them for dropping deep but pointless staying in the box with nothing getting there.

He has a good work rate and he gets into some great position on the edge of the opposition box, then he more often than not gives the ball away. I wait for it to happen. Occasionally e gets a cross in and occasionally scores a goal, but for me, an attack often breaks down with him. He's not alone in being@#$%&though.

No he's only played 93 minutes of football in 2019.
