Sala Plane found

Here

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

Hopefully will provide some closure for the families.

It was his body they found in the plane.

The pilot lived in a small town close to me, they are devastated too. I hope they find his body, but it's looking unlikely.

Sadly it looks like no attempt will be made to find the pilot

Mbappe has donated to help find the pilot. Gary Lineker donated a £1,000, nice one Gary but you can afford to dig a bit deeper into your pockets.

yes he could, but quite a few more should dig deep as well.

Despite the plane crash landing in the sea, it was found in relatively good condition all things considered. I am only speculating but I'd guess if the pilot was not in the plane like Sala was, he was probably conscious following impact and therefore unbuckled his seat belt and managed to escape the plane.

Which means he likely drowned soon after or died of hypothermia in the freezing temperatures in the ocean. Either way unfortunately with how the weather was (reported 5m waves and why the sea rescue could not be deployed at first) and with the strong currants, it will be likely impossible to find his body now.

The family feel they need to do all they can. I hope they find the body for closure. It's along shot though.
