BBC just pointed out these stats - it's a worry:

Arsenal are the only side yet to keep a Premier League clean sheet away from home this season.

They have lost 11 of their last 19 away league games (W5, D3), with their sole clean sheet coming in a 1-0 win at Huddersfield in May - Arsene Wenger's last game.

Arsenal are winless in their last 20 league games away to the other sides in the 'top six' since a 2-0 win at Etihad Stadium in January 2015, and have lost 10 of their last 12 such fixtures.

I usually try and go to away matches, non-stop singing. The worst was against Blackburn a few years ago, Adebayor scored a hat-trick, but the atmosphere was flat, we hadn't taken up our full ticket allocation.

Very disappointed as I had positive things to say at half time.

It looked like Emery had got his tactics spot on after a great turn around but right at the end of the half City show their superior quality with a great goal.

Guendouzi has been the best player on the pitch for me. Torreira and Koscielny have been very good as well. Iwobi and Lichtsteiner, not so much...

Yeh, he's just not up to it.

Agree, but Miatland-Niles is also out and hard to trust Jenko in a game away to City.

So can't fault Emery for playing a guy with so much big game experience even though hes all past it.

I expect to lose the game but just want a decent performance we can build on. So far so good. We can get at them if we bring Ramsey on.

I'm not blaming Emery. We shouldn't be in this position of not having a decent rb back up for Bellerin.

Is it only me who notices that Iwobi only plays well when he comes on as a sub in the 2nd half? When he starts the game, he is pretty average.

some thoughts:

Leno was excellent. could have been 6 tonight. some fantastic saves.

Guendouzi was excellent. Best midfielder at the club as of late

Torriera, and Kos were pretty good. not brilliant but good. I also thought Iwobi was good. terrible for their first goal but other than that I actually thought he was good.

everyone else was average at best. maybe monreal was decent. not really Auba or Laca's fault. no creativity.

Lichsteiner is honestly terrible. all 3 goals came from attacking him. at this point play Jenko and AMN and build for the future. Lich is done, he's 34 and if hes not good enough for the now we may as well build for the future. Who know's maybe jenko will suprise everyone.

Suarez plays like ozil lol. not really much intensity in him, disposessed fairly easily. can't judge until he gets some real time.

Just watched MOTD, for two of our goals, as Ian Wright points out, two of those could have been prevented if the defence had just got out, Aguiero would then have been off side. If VAR had been there the third goal would not have stood because Aguiero used his arm. That said, City were superior to us, but we make it easy. Lichsteiner was nowhere near the position he should have been in for the goals. Iwobi didn't cover him. Shambles, why we didn't get at least a RB in the transfer window when Bellerin is out for the season is beyond me.

MattySadler (IP Logged)

I mean it's not like they would've needed any real help or tactics to beat us, but knowing we were without Bellerin, I bet City's main tactic was "get at Arsenal's right".

Whoever we put there would've been a weak(er) link, and all three goals came down that side.
