The whole" English fans love a robust tackle" crap... The commentators have been peddling bulshit like that for years.... After the first goal, Henderson started playing hoofball against croatia and it was only the 33 min on the clock...
Its @#$%& like this that gets ingrained in you and somehow the physical side of the game becomes equally important as the technique which is not really true. Technique will always come first else we keep producing Walcotts.

The whole attitude of refs towards how physical one can be in the English game and get away in front of the refs is precisely why English teams struggle in europe and world football.
Pulis is the epitome of that side of the game. The hoofball expert. The rugby coach

Ex players think it's funny that some players don't like it "up em" it's not it's crass and xenophobic but commentators and presenters fawn over the can't make it as managers brigade to the extent of nausia. English football is starting to move away from this under Southgate long may it continue.

Under new managment

There were still some comments from commentators this season, criticizing Southgate 's "we don't play like that" comments over troy deeney s exclusion from the world Cup party

It will take a generation to change old mindsets on how the game should be played.

And why does a team manager need to despise another manager like that in the first place? I can understand if a manager hates Mourinho, because Mou is a @#$%& and his behavior towards others makes him deserve to be disliked.

Pulis is a joke, he must be a joke to his wife, and children. No wonder he looks like a P@nis with a hat. A sorry excuse of a human being. The siege mentality, kick Arsenal players, they don't like it mentality, I long suspect that the breaks to Eduardo and Ramsey was always due to this mentality by these unskilled English managers type. McLeish similarly, both are bullies.

If Pulis was a manager in France, what will he do when he goes up against PSG?? Will he go, "alright boys,We got to level the playing ground, dominate your man, leave something in there so they'll get intimidated and can't play their game" (loosely translated to mean go hurt Neymar and Mbappe).

Pulis should continue to lick the sweat of a dead man's ball, what he does every day.
