- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

Surprised that it is an early start. Was expecting a start time of 3pm eastern.

Terrible 1st half.
Our usual poor half.

Our attack is highly dependent on the attacking backs and we don't have them today. So not surprising we have a hard time creating anything. I expect Ozil to be brought in late to make something happen.

Not the best performance but a win that puts us in full control of the the group.
First ever win in Portugal and only Sportings 2nd home defeat in 2 years.

Leno is grabbing the job with both hands.

I'm really liking him. He's made some decent saves so good with his hands. Plus his kicking is on another level to Cech. Much less panic at the back.

Has to be his job to lose, playing so well with plenty of confidence.
