Match against Leicester City - Time to rotate players?

Never change a winning team.
But do we have a choice with games coming in thick and fast?

Surely we will also suffer a long injury list by October/November like Arsene Wenger "horrendous injury list" season-in, season-out?

A hectic games in December?
Do we rest players now with another international break next month?

I will rest Sokratis to give him more time to recover.
Torreira?
A hectic Asian tour and certainly needed time to recover with mid-week games coming in thick and fast this month and November?

But he is indespensibe and needed to play.
Let's hope that both AMN and Joe Willock are ready by December to step into the breach to give Torreira a rest.

Ramsey?
Do we start him?

I will speculate that Emery will take one game at a time and will always field his best team to win. Rotation is not in his agenda till December's 9 games run.

............................... Leno

... Bellerin ... Mustafi ... Holding ... Monreal

........... Torreira ............…... Xhaka

... Aubameyang ........ Ozil ............. Iwobi

...............…......… Lacazette

With the emergence of Iwobi, who is tracking back and can play down the left wing, tiem for Ozil to play as NO. 10.

It will be like 4-4-1-1 with Ozil playing just behind Lacazette with Aubameyang and Iwobi coming in from deep, inter-changing with Lacazette and Ozil in the centre, and as cover behind Ozil to make up his short-coming in tracking back and tackling in the middle.

Auba, Ozil, Iwobi and Laca, all mobile players and pacy, willing runner in final third, and all scoring threat when bursting into the box.

Laca is willing to track back and put in a defensive shift in the middle, pressing the ball carrier. And when Laca is tracking back, Ozil is the front-man, a goal-scoring threat and with his technical skills in holding the ball and ability to pick up runners during counter-attacks, Laca, Auba and Iwobi are goal-scoring threat running from deep during counter-attack.

Interesting question is to observe how much have their understanding of each other movements and preferences have Emery develop them for the last 3 months?

The answer will be when Ozil started playing as No. 10, the main man that Emery will build his team around him.

That’s what we have now, especially at the back and in the midfield the options we have, to open up the spaces, we have many more options than we had last year.” Mikel Arteta

The match is Monday night, so extra 2days rest for International players like Torreira. Play the best team and keep winning and confidence high!

But what is the best team? Iwobi has to be in it surely?

I agree with Sod, play the best team possible keep the run going.
Most matches were over by Tuesday?Wednesday and dont have to play untill Monday.

We can't take any risks to points. Tottenham won today so it keeps the pressure on. Amazingly though a big victory of 5-0 and a Liverpool defeat could see us go second. We're where we need to be at the moment let's keep the pressure on.

Yes 5-0 would be excellent, but I would even settle for 1-0 in advance. We can always build up GD against softer oppo

3 matches in 7 days?

Interesting to see which is Emery's priority - Leicester City or Sporting Lisbon?

If Torreira plays tonight, then against Sporting Lisbon, I prefer Elneny-Ramsey-AMN in the middle with Iwobi-Welbeck-Mkhitaryan as Forwad-3.

Agree. Play our best team available with minor changes to acccount for knocks and niggles until the Palace game then can rotate a bit more for Blackpool.
