Iwobi & Welbeck

I've been seriously impressed with these two this season. They've made an impact off the bench as well as the few games they started.

Iwobi especially should be starting more. He's actually taking on men, beating them and improved final ball too.

If this is Emery's doing, then we have a very good manager in our hands.

Boston Gooner
Welbeck is shite.
Always has been.

Maybe so, but he's contributing this season and is a useful squad player.

Welbeck is exactly the kind of player we need to have in the squad. He may not be the most talented player but his attitude is always exceptional. Players like Ozil could learn a lot from him.

Welbeck on the wings makes the team more solid defensively. He also adds a lot of pace and width. He is a very useful player to have if played in the right position. He is no striker so he shouldn't be played as a lone striker.

Dream acquisitions as of 10/15/2018:

CB: Issa Diop/Jonathan Tah
RB: Aaron Wan-Bissaka
DM: Franck Kessie/Yves Bissouma/Ndidi
CM: Kai Havertz
Wing/Attack: Ante Rebic/Pepe

Welbeck is a workhorse, but unfortunately he’s also a carthorse.

As for Iwobi, I very much hope to be proven wrong by him as I’ve always insisted he was s.hite and just another Denilson level Wenger love child. However although it’s only early days, I may well be as he looks a different player under Emery this season.

Albert Einstein once said: "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
