Match against Qarabag - Youngsters to take centre stage?

Will Emery takes this game seriously and field senior players with only one youngster in Smith Rowe with Nketiah and Joe Willock on the bench?
perhaps it is time for Nketiah to start this game.

With international week coming up, it is not necessary to rest senior players and they will not reach the "red line" by playing too many games yet.

But I will rest Leno and let Martinez starts.
Too risky to have our No. 1 and No. 2 goalie out at the same time for this weekend game against Fulham.

I will leave Sokrtatis and Ozil behind in London since both of them will not start this game.

.................................. Martinez

... Lichsteiner ... Mustafi ... Holding ... Kolasinac

................... Xhaka ............... Guendouzi

... Welbeck ............... Iwobi ..........Smith-Rowe

................................ Nketiah

Emery should start looking at the future without Ramsey and gives mor playing time for Iwobi as No. 10.

If Welbeck's contract is not going to be extended, then Nketiah should start to give him more playing time.

I think he might put Auba back up front, after all the guy had a nice relaxing weekend

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

Yeah. I can't see him resting everyone Iike Wenger did. I think he fancies this competition and sees it as a chance to work with his players more to help our leave position. He also clearly has greater fitness standards than Wenger did so won't just let players rest.

Leno doesn't need a rest, he needs minutes on the pitch.

That is true, but if he got injured we would have no top class keeper left in the squad

3 - Lloris
4 - Ederson
5 - Aderson

6 - Cech
7 - Leno
8 - Kepa
9 - Schmichel
10- Foster

11- Hart

Emery is not a fan of Nketiah it appears.

We don't have anybody with 20 goals in the league, so that is a handicap - Arsene Wenger

Judging from the training pictures on Arsenal.com, it looks like Nketiah is with the squad after all.....

Good to hear.
Hope that he gets some action.
