Brentford at home in the Kangaroo cup

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

Arsenal Under-23 0-1 Bentford.

Remember Nottingham Forest?

I reckon Unai will take it a bit seriously with a combination of first teamers and some of the younger guns. I expect players like Emile Smith Rowe and the likes of Leno, Holding, Mavropanos, Lichsteiner, Elneny and Welbeck starting. Monreal after only fit leftback shouln't be anywhere near this game, but doesn't look like there is any option left.

What happen to that "young bloke with pace" Bramall, is he in with a shout for LB due to our LB crisis?

Really hope Nico Yennaris plays. Lifelong Arsenal fan and former Arsenal mascot.

I remember Yennaris well. He did ok in the few times he played in the senior team but he neither had the physique nor athletism I thought. If I remember, he deputized at right back for us due to injuries to our defenders a few times.

Me and Flava, who know a lot about football, have been tipping Brentfords Ollie Watkins for stardom for a long time.

Well, I have. Flava once said he didnt know what all the fuss was about, shortly before Super Ollie banged in 2 long range screamers against Plymouth for his first club Exeter City.

but Ive always been tipping him for stardom anyway.

First football team I ever saw play was the Bees, cant remember who they played or when, I was only 3 at the time. Not long after we moved from that area to near the Arsenal

Yeah, he was used at right back in a defeat against Man United if I remember right, where Welbeck scored. He did well in that game but barely had a sniff after that. Maybe a couple of cup appearances.

I thought he should've been given more of a chance, but I'm bias because I like any player who loves the club, and I met him in Ibiza a couple of years back.
