Upcoming fixtures

We now have 8 winnable games up until the Liverpool game for us to improve and get some confidence. I expect to see the starting line up changing slowly over the next couple of months with players like xhaka being dropped permanently at some point in the next few weeks and other underperformers being rotated out more often for certain games.

I think it is kind of understandable that he didn't want to go with a midfield of guendouzi and torreira in the first two games because they are both young and inexperienced. And I expect we will start to experiment more with other players such as movrapanos, but I think it's right that these changes will come gradually rather than all at once.

Those players who have been guaranteed a starting place up until now can still contribute in some capacity so there is no point in alienating them by dropping them immediately without giving them a chance. But I expect that the likes of cech, xhaka, mustafi, Ramsey, bellerin and ozil will slowly find their places are under threat of they don't improve.

And hopefully by the time we play Liverpool in November, we'll be unrecognisable compared to now.

I'd go with following team until Jan:

We need to offload players in Jan and sign some CB's and a CM and a winger.

When you say you expect xhaka to be dropped. I hope you hate right but have seen little evidence that this manager sees him as anything less than a starter.

He’s taken him off in both games so surely that says something

It does. But he's also started him. Even after this week saying that torreira is ready to start games.

But then he also said that it would have been a risk to start two young players with no experience in England.

I agree. Bit he could have played Ramsey.

Bottom of the table scrap

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

I would drop Ozil and play Mkhitaryan through the center. I love Ozil and have been a big fan of his since the 2010 WC but he doesn't deserve to start anymore. I would also push Aubamayang to the wing and play Lacazzette through the middle.

Dream acquisitions as of 10/15/2018:

CB: Issa Diop/Jonathan Tah
RB: Aaron Wan-Bissaka
DM: Franck Kessie/Yves Bissouma/Ndidi
CM: Kai Havertz
Wing/Attack: Ante Rebic/Pepe

I’m not too confident of Westham game. Team is misfiring badly. Defense is still very poor.
