Is this a joke or what??? A Big GAMBLE if It's True.

We had the whole transfer window to sort this out but NO we didn't. Injury and failure to buy a replacement instead of trying to plug in a makeshift has been our bane. Thought it was a Wenger thing but alas it's an Arsenal thing.
ANYWAY HEN THE TEAM SHEET COMES OUT, WE SHALL KNOW IF IT'S TRUE OR NOT.

I think its a back up thing, and taking a long term look at if Welbeck can become a wingback.
Welbeck has a great motor on him, and doesnt mind getting stuck in. Its just he is a poor shot.

Also Arsenal have lost a lot of full backs in last few weeks to injury, but there are still plenty of replacements without desperate measures.

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

After yesterday match, Emery can do worse by playing Welbeck as left wing-back.

Welbeck-Iwobi partnership can work!
Both of them have the engine to go end-to-end unlike Bellerin, who is knackered after one lung bursting run and needed to jog back to recover.

Why not take a punt against WHU?

Monreal, just recovered from injury, and was puffing and huffing and showing his age.
look like last season he was at his peak and thereafter, downhill all the way.

I will rather play 3-5-2 against WHU with Welbeck as the left wingback and Iwobi as left midfield. Both of them have the physicality and pace to protect left flank.
Both of them seem to develop an understanding to play together.

As wingback, Welbeck may revitalise his career at Arsenal ... like Victor Mose at Chelski and Ashley Young at ManU.
