Arsenal signed a deal with Chambers so that can get some money for him having said that Vida is hell better than Chambers.

Chambers is a decent defender and a potential starter from the current set of CBs. Should be sending Holding on loan instead.

I think they blew most of budget last season on Lacazette and Aubamayeng.
They are trying to sell Welbz to create slack

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

^That should generate about 25p then.

I thought that Vida looked really good at the World Cup but otherwise I don't know anything about him.

He's late 20s though which seems to fit one of the two profiles of players we're signing these days.

I wish we had the money, or were willing to spend the money, to buy an elite-ish/ potentially elite-ish early-to-mid 20s left-sided centre back though.

I doubt anyone else will come in now. We're more likely to go with the 4 CBs and pin our hopes on Koscielny returning.

Chambers should not have been loaned out, terrible decision.

Vida is another average defender who is getting up there in age. Better to give Holding a chance and hope he develops or spend the money and buy a top class defender.

We don't have anybody with 20 goals in the league, so that is a handicap - Arsene Wenger

Chambers is better than Holding

It makes no sense at all to let Chambers leave unless we are planning to bring in a veteran player who upgrades the defence.

Vida is so slow and average.

We need someone tall, not another short slow midget!
