I'm not sure how I feel about Ivan Gazidis being the new emperor. His commercial deals this far have been fairly weak.

I agree about the whole football is international thing, but then realized madrid, barcelona etc have mostly nationals in their business makeup.

Before he arrived, I read that Unai's English wasn't so good. How did you find his communication skills, Padre?

I thought the PA system was very poor so not the best test.
However thye guy is very animated, very lively. He has a large English vocabularly, his pronunciation was a little difficult to follow at times, but as I said I dont think PA helped. I think a few months of living here and he will be very good.
The audience got the main drift of what he was saying, as did I

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

For someone who supposedly didn’t speak much English it’s pretty amazing

All the changes are positive and I'm very optimistic about the coming season. Better late than never. Finally we are getting a proper structure

Quote:
Unai, wants to see evidence of the commitment to a hard 90 minutes every day in training. He prefers to win 5-4 than 1-0 but 5-0 is even better..........
He then gave us his four legs exposition of what is most important for the club; 1. Organisation 2. Players 3. Media and 4. The Fans

Great Article.thumbs down

If he can get our players to adopt the attitude of commitment to a hard 90 minutes training everyday, it will surely translate into the field of play. COMMITMENT, WINNING MENTALITY AND THE NEVER SAY NEVER ATTITUDE was what we were lacking.(think all 3 are one and the same though)

let's see if he can get this present money grabbing insensitive board to understand that FANS are very much important. this is why i love his four legs exposition.

as for Gazidis, i don't trust him and his new found power.

Actually I am not sure I explained that very well, I think he meant that in training players should be showing they are committed to a hard 90 match time minutes
