I’m so cut up about Jack leaving

His statement proves to me that this will be our worst EVER Regime at Arsenal
Getting rid of Mad Jens and Jack and probably also Pires. But for the fact the are worried about his mental health, he’d probably be gone too

I bet this idiotic regime forget about the home grown rule.
They will, start scrambling to offload some foreigners toward the end of the window just watch

I wanted jack to stay but one of his condition was to be guaranteed a regular start. Now that is not being realistic considering that he has yet to prove himself to the new coach. Wish him all the best.

Let's be honest, we're not going to be any worse off without him, are we?

Actually it helps to free up one space to develop n grow one homegrown player from the backyard. Wilshere has nothing to develop he has to play regularly it’s good for him n good for the club.

We don't have anybody with 20 goals in the league, so that is a handicap - Arsene Wenger

Pity but just like Theo, Jack didn't reach the level required. I am sentimental about Jack, most long time Arsenal fans are, but we need to move on. He was never the same after his long term injury. Seems it took the joy of playing away from him. When he was at Bournemouth on loan, he hardly carried the ball like he used to when he was younger. He was getting rid of the ball as soon as he can. Being at the end of heavy tackles from brutish players like Fletcher did a number on him which he never mentally recovered from.

Just like Diaby after Dan Smith broke his foot, Jack is another unfulfilled potential.

This. We've made him an offer, given him plenty of time to mull it over, and he's said no. We'll be fine.

I would've rather Wilshere stayed, personally, but he's well down the pecking order at this point. Behind Ozil, Ramsey, Mkhitaryan, Xhaka, etc, plus Torreira if/ when we sign him. I'm sure if he stayed he'd climb above the likes of Elneny in no time at all, but he clearly feels he's at an age where he can't afford to not be playing.

Notably this is the second time Wilshere has been left out of an England squad, sh*t himself and done something drastic (the first time being when he cleared off on loan to Bournemouth after Allardyce left him out).
