I think he will end up in Italy, but i just wanted to say that I've wanted us to sign him since we played CSKA some months ago. Quality player.

Needs to concentrate on the Canelo rematch first.

Much as I think Golovin is good, he is not what we currently need. Having said that though, nobody would really know what we need as we haven't seen the new set-up and system. I hope Emery has a clear direction on setting up the team and fitting in the right players.

Why wouldn't we need a player who has 1v1 ability? We have literally nobody in the team who can dribble their way out of something and create chances without having to rely on build up.

Agreed but there might be better options

Well, I agree on the NEED. We fans have been asking for this type of player for years. And when that player became available and wanted to leave his club before last season and was reputedly open to join us, our manager (then) said we already have similar players in Ozil and IWOBI!! Yes, I'm talking about Mahrez. Tricky as they come, nightmare for defenders, got goals and assist in him, proven in the EPL. Yet, we don't seem to be interested. Go figure.

At this point i just think mahrez has a horrible agent. Just like movie /music, football is about relationships and there are agents who are getting great deals for some truly shitty players.

This is something we have lacked for a while, Alexis was the last one but previously we always had those types of players, Arshavin, Nasri even Rosicky. It's really good point.

Alexis wasn't that either.
