Arsenal FC is having a good WC2018

We already know that Danny Welbeck is the only Gunner in the England team, so Jack Wilshere (if he stays) will have a good rest. Aaron Ramsey’s Wales side failed to qualify. Shkrodan Mustafi didn’t make the cut for Germany so Mesut Ozil is our only player likely to get as far as the semi finals.

Alexandre Lacazette has been left out of the France squad, as has Hector Bellerin from Spain’s. PE Aubameyang’s Gabon side failed to qualify after being beaten soundly by Morocco but Elneny will be our only African player in Russia after helping Egypt to their first Finals in 22 years.

Alex Iwobi has been included in Nigeria’s squad and Granit Xhaka will be there with Switzerland but other than Ozil with Germany none of our other players are likely to get past the last 8 teams, except possibly David Ospina if Colombia do well, so they should all be well-rested by the time the new season comes along.

All in all, it is all looking good for a fast start for Unai Emery’ first season as Arsenal coach…

Unai Emery got lucky with hsi frist season with us.
He has virtually the entire team at his disposal for pre-season training on July 2.
Cech, Aubameyang, Lacazette, Mkhitaryan, Ramsey, Bellerin, Mavroponas, Chamebrs, Holding plus those new players he wanted who are unlikely to be involved in the World CUp including N'zonzi or Rabiot.

he can also tried out Maitland-Niles, Perez and other youngsters like Nketiah, Nelson and WIllock and even Ben Sheaf.

Emery will no reason why this team will not kick off the new season with an integrated team in place.

Ozil?
Well, Mkhitaryan and Ramsey can pick up the slake.

But will a Ramsey signs on or alleged follow his agent advice to drag on and leave on a Bosman next season.
Gazidis will never allow another Alexis and Ozil to develop but instead, to cut their loss and sell Ramsey this summer if he still refuses to sign on.

Wilshere?
One of Wenger's love children and time for him to say goodbye and develop his potential elsewhere. Over-rated, impetuous on the pitch, ill-disciplined off the pitch, too much indulgent from Wenger destroyed his career.

Iwobi?
AN enigma with much potential.
perhaps Emery can coach him into a position more suitable to his talents - as a deep-lying playmaker changing plays like a Pirlo, not at the front end to finish off chances. His loss of confidence is visible on the pitch ... another one mismanaged by Wenger.
Iwobi needs a new coach like Emery to spot his weakness and to coach him to his potential in a new "Cazorla"role.

Sure as @#$%& makes it less interesting to me seeing as I can't think of anyone I'd cheer for now.
