That to see him leave without a proper send off, but realistically after the trouble he had with his Achilles tendon injury he was never going to be important or even a proper squad player for us anymore and we needed to get rid of him as this new Arsenal era should have no time for being overly sentiment.

We need to be rutheless and in that regard we need get rid of Kos by the end of next season too.

I wonder if Arsenal would've been a better side had Wenger spent £42 million on a striker instead of signing Ozil and using Cazorla in a deeper role. Cazorla's the better number 10. My god he was great.

Shame it turned out the way it did.

Good player, but definitely wouldn't go as far as calling him a great or one of our best ever players.

Albert Einstein once said: "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

Two footed, goal scorer. Made me forget cesc very quickly. Overall a nos 10 that scores as well. Sad end

The most two footed player I have ever seen. Absolute joy to watch and someone we have severely missed. He was every bit as good as Cesc or Silva.

Change sport. Anyone who doesn't rate Cazorla as a footballer doesn't understand the game!

He's a nice player but who gives a sh*t? Pace, power, penetration etc. that's what you need in today's game, not a fiddly midget who occasionally does something pretty decent.

I'd rather trustv the opinion of every Arsenal player who always said he's the best player at the club.

Real shame,

Quality player and likeable (even as a Spurs fan)

On the topic Have any of you read Adrian Doherty’s biography “forever young” by Oliver Kay ?
It’s a fantastic read and the best sports biography I’ve ever read

Hope Carzorla finds something he’s passionate and happy doing in the future and hopefully that can be in Football

Really shocking when a player gets an injury as bad as Santis

Can’t help but feel it could have been diagnosed better
