An away win to end the season 😲

Don't care what Shane says but we was terrible.

Off you go Wenger and let the new era start.

Focus on the positives mate. Your lads conceded four but still won.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the fastest Arsenal player to reach 10 Premier League goals; taking 13 games to reach double figures.

He made a similar run when kolasinac tried a cut back instead of a the big to the far post. Even ramsey who had decent instincts doesn't do that, like most arsenal players who always wait for the cut back which is probably a wenger ball thing.

Aubameyang is going to go places next season if we get a foward line that's willing to do the basic "cross to the far post more often". It's a simple gamble that most arsenal players don't take

The preferred mode of attack for Wengerball is to pass and move thru the defensive lines. Hence having intelligent players who can play on the shoulders of the opposing defenders with the ability to time their runs and not get caught offside is critical. Playing 1-2's and laying off balls. I think in Lacazette and Aubameyang, we have 2 very good players of such quality. Less so of Wellbeck. And this is why Wenger rates Ozil so highly as he is one of the few players who can see the player matchups and play the perfect weighted pass thru the lines. Neither Jack nor Ramsey nor Xhaka can do so consistently. Cazorla in his peak was able to do so but I think he will be gone this summer.

Hence the act of crossing the ball is not a mode of attack that is the focus of Wenger.

Yeah but I'm saying Aubameyang has a tendency to make those runs. And so if ppl start trying boot it to the far post blindly, auba will get on the end of those.
