Match against Brighton - Wenger has the balls to drop mercenaries?

His players are being mollycoddling and undroppable.
He always field his favorites, turn a blind eyes on his purchases to prove he is always right and not a waste of money.

This may very well be his last 10 league games with Arsenal and his record stops at 828 league games, never reaching 1,000 league games at Arsenal FC.

Which premiership team will employ Arsene Wenger on a 4-year contract to allow him to manage his 1,000th premiership game?

You may never know ... Abramovich may be waiting for him to replace Conte ... just that iconic figure and attacking football that he wanted to play. Abramovich craves esteem and recognition from the Establishment and Arsene Wenger is an Establishment in Premiership.

Like Arsene Wenger, Arsenal FC had gone stale and in need of rejuvenation with fresh ideas, a new approach and a mass culling to clear away cobwebs, replacing broken tiles, leaking faucets, peeling paintwork and rotted furniture.

A mutual parting will serve both parties to restart and rediscover their passion in football.

Perhaps Brighton match is the start of "The Revenge of Arsene Wenger" against those players he trusted and badly led him down?

...................................Cech

... Bellerin ... Koscielny ... Mustafi ... AMN
..............................Elneny
...............Ramsey.................Wilshere

.... .....Ozil............................Mkhitaryan
......................AUbameyang

We really need a disciplined Elneny to site just in front of Back-4 and should not cross the half-way line, patrolling the vacuum and always ready to chase down balls and runners when Bellerin and midfield are caught out high up the pitch.

AMN is trustworthy to patrol the left flank with 50% of space (instead of being a DCM) reduced for him to defence.

Wilshere will play his heart out.
Ramsey is always dangerous running in deep and help to open up space for Auba, Mkhi and Ozil.

Time to see who will stand up and fight.

If we cannot beat Brighton away, Wenger should be sacked in the morning.

I don't think wilshere will be ready. Better to save him for Milan. To be honest, I'd rest a couple for that game.

We can only hope a repeat of 2005/06 cup run.

UEFA Cup Final - loss
CL Cup Final - loss

That is Arsene Wenger's record in Europe after 21 seasons at Arsenal FC.

How many CL Cup finals had all those other managers participated?
- Ferguson?
- Mourinho?
- Guardiola?
- Conte?
- Klopp?
- Benitez?
- Carlos Ancelitto?

No wonder Mourinho called him a specialist in failures.
