Anyone think we'll get anything out of this? (Sm159)

A couple of years ago I would have said it would be typical arsenal to mess up the important game and then come back and prove people wrong the following week.

Now I'm not confident of that at all...

Ramsey almost plays Aubameyang in but Ederson is quickly off his line.

Mkhitaryan plays Ramsey in behind the City defence, Ramsey smashes one low across goal, Kompany turns it towards his own goal but it comes off Ederson and he's able to smother the ball.

Good high press from us. Welbeck tackles, Ramsey comes away with it, Ozil plays it out left to Mkhitaryan and his shot is saved.

Decent start but very open.

1-0 City. Great finish by Bernardo Silva but Kolasinac has to know he's going to cut inside!?

Almost toss it up for ourselves under little pressure, but we came away through Xhaka and Ramsey. Ozil plays in Welbeck but he's fouled by Otamendi, who is booked.

Far out but Xhaka's free kick is decent. Ederson is down low to save.

Good stuff again. Mustafi plays Bellerin in down the right. Bellerin comes inside and cuts it back to Ramsey. Ramsey's shot on the turn is saved well by Ederson.

Look much more up for it than we did on Sunday...

2-0 Silva. Class football from City.

3-0 another class goal. We pressed them high and they just passed and passed and passed. Augero turned Koscielny too easily and then it was easy from there. Think that's a Bellerin OG.

Good save from Cech off Aguero. Should be 4-0!

Mkhitaryan into Ramsey. Ramsey's touch takes him past two City players and he plays it to Aubameyang. Aubameyang lays it off to Ozil. Ozil takes a shot and his shot was blocked.

Decent move, shame Aubameyang or Ozil didn't fancy a go first time.

Mkhitaryan plays one across goal. Welbeck attempts a silky back heel but its blocked by Otamendi.

Half time 3-0.

Played some decent stuff going forward early on but City are simply unbelievable in possession and we're simply unbelievably bad without possession. City's three goals have been quality and they should've had a fourth.

Ramsey lofts one over the top to Aubameyang first time and Aubameyang volleys wide.

A load of papers from the City dugout have blown onto the pitch. Wenger should really send someone on to retrieve them.

I think I was too optimistic predicting 0-0

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

And we where still poor.

Could have gone tonight for nothing.
Couldn't be bothered.
2 lads went from work for a day out.
And they are Man Utd fans. Lol

In the USA NBC is making a big deal about arsenal not reporting for his interview duty... it is a bit strange. Maybe someone told him to clean out his office...
