Match against 5pud2 - Deja vu?

We knew that Ozil and Mkhi will clear 10+ scoring chances.
We knew that Auba is a better finisher than an out of form Laca, short on confidence.
We knew that Ramsye is at his best with a knack of arriving at a scoring position and finally got through his thick skull that he needed a split-second to compose himself instead of rushing his shots.
We knew that both Cech and Ospina can't keep clean-sheet and will commit one or two howlers per game.

And all these meant a high-scoring games against 5pud2.

..................................Cech

...Bellerin ... Koscielny ... Mustafi ... Monreal

...............................Elneny

...................Ramsey ........ Mkhitaryan

... Ozil.............Aubameyang............... Iwobi

We needed Elneny to play a rigid and disciplined role whose primary and only function is to shield back-4 and to track runners coming in deep, driving into centre.

We have enough attackers and playmakers and there is no necessity for Elneny to cross the centre-circle. He needs to keep a wary eye on cut-backs from flanks and the way Son, Alii Dele and Eriksen driving into centre from deep.

Ramsey is a false dawn against a poorish Everton and Dembele-Drier is a different kettle of fish and can keep Ramsey in their pocket whole day long. Dembele and Drier are experienced enough to track down and block Ramsey's runs.

Iwobi is preferred as he keeps his game simple and passes quickly, with his closed control and dribbling skills will create havoc in 5pud2 box.
Against Everton, he put in a shift and track back as well.

let's hope our 4-3-3 will turn-up to play with commitment and hunger to blitz 5pud2 out of the game in the first 20 minutes.

I quite fancy us. They're so mentally fragile when it comes to us.

On paper it's fairly evenly matched these days, just a better defence and manager from their side.

I'd take our midfield though. Attack is a toss of a coin.

They hold their shape a lot better than our team. We cannot have passengers like xhaka in the team when they have possession. Also the way mustafi is playing, he almost screwed up in the first minute of the game against everton, we are going to concede a couple of goals
