Giroud was my favourite player so I'm gutted to see him go, especially to Chelsea

Well worth two threads, Jack.

I can't really articulate everything I want to say about him, but suffice to say I'll miss him a lot.

Way better than people gave him credit for.

Getting rid of him literally means we have no plan B now as Auba and Laca are too similar. What else have we got Danny f.ucking Welbeck?

If Auba is similar to Lacazette that means we just completely screwed up buying him. The latter is a very limited striker and seems he has no pace at all.

Olly was a great professional. I think he will do well at Chelsea.

Auba is a better version of Laca I agree, but they are similar in their game. Therefore with Giroud gone we literally have no plan B.

When Giroud came on we could start whipping balls to the near post (where Giroud is most dangerous) or in the air, but now we don't have that.

That could cost us big time whilst Chelsea reap the rewards for just £18m.

LOL, the best striker of Arsenal after Van Persie.

The ultimate professional is i think the best compliment. Improved a lot year on year. Never had the piece but improved his dribble and pretty much every other area, even if at a minhte level each year. Hardly ever injured.

I think both alonso and Moses are good at crosses and i expect him to fare better if he stays ahead of morata

Giroud will be 2nd choice come the summer at Chelsea just as he was at Arsenal.
