Wenger eyes new recruits as troubled Arsenal face Chelsea test

Asked whether there could be developments this week, Wenger said: "Yes, because we are in the second week of January and, after that, it passes quickly.

"We signed a Greek boy (Mavropanos) who looks quite good in training but apart from that, we have not done anything. Will we be out there to do something? Yes we will."

Something good may come out of being knocked out in FA Cup Round #3.
As Padre said, plenty of blank Saturdays for players to recuperate.
Plus focus is now to try to win the Tin Cup and Europa Cup.

Best of all, a sharp and painful kick up Wenger ass proving he is deluded that his Arsenal B Team "full of 6 or 7 internationals" are a match to any committed football side willing to come out swinging and fight for the ball.

If he wanted to rebuild his shattered legacy and branded as a clown, he needed to buy, and buy now to replace players who no longer wish to play for him.

Well, time for Wenger to keep his words like:
"When the players had stop playing for me, and I cannot take Arsenal to another level, then it is time for me to leave."

What you waiting for Arsene Wenger?
Time for you to leave.
