Interesting stuff as always- a huge survey of football writers/experts across the globe:

And here:

Interesting to note that our only two entrants this year (Ozil & Sanchez) both slipped down the rankings, and Koscielny out altogether. ManCity on the other hand had 8 and Chelsea and Man U 7 each in the top 100.

On current form (let's say since the beginning of the 17-18 season), there's a few names who don't belong on that list any more: Mkhitaryan, Bonucci, Delle Alli, Dani Alves and Benzema.

I noticed Ozil around 70ish? Where is Sanchez?

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

You should have seen the way Coman toyed with Alves when Bayern played PSG 2 weeks ago. Alves was brought in to help PSG win the Champions League, but on this evidence, he'll be a liability in the latter stages of the tournament more than anything.

He's getting on but it's still fantastic going foward. Defensively is going to work if the manager gives cover.
In big games, big teams cover for each other. The double team opposition attackers irrespective of the quality of their defenders.

I think he has been a positive influence in psg
