Maitland-Niles rested for the Liverpool game? Massive show of faith.

At this point it is pretty apparent that Theo will never start a meaningful game again so he is really just taking up minutes that the youngsters could use

Same with Elneny. He doesn't even get named in Premier League match day squads, unless we're low on numbers. Debuchy as well.

We've got a phenomenal talent in Reiss Nelson just itching to break through, and he has to make do with a place on the bench.

Or minutes that mean Arsenal can get some money for him.

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

Seems Wenger is well and truly finished with three at the back.

Much stronger West Ham team than I was expecting. 5/1 is a decent price for me. Quina is also very decent. I think he might have a Reece Oxford-type game at the Emirates.

A lot of hype and interest surrounding this Quina so looking forward to seeing what he's all about.

Only difference is I like elneny much more than I like xhaka... not sure how he still has a place in the first team.

And bellerin has been average at best for a while now while debuchy is actually looking pretty decent. A good Manager might give them some real minutes

Xhaka hasn't played well at all this season, granted, but Elneny is sh*t. Really sh*t.

I'd rather see somebody like Ben Sheaf, who has performed consistently for our second string for years now, getting a chance over Debuchy, who'll be gone at the end of the season.

Wenger plays favorites, so really hard to get into the match day lineup for Debuchy or others.

Seriously lacking some sort of creative/ flair player.

No need for Coquelin, Elneny AND Willock.

You can see what's going to happen here.
All the ball create nothing and they will score.

Coquelin plays a lovely ball down the line to Kolasinac. Kolasinac crosses first time and finds Walcott completely unmarked in the penalty area, but he heads well wide.

Best chance of the half.

Coquelin switches the ball to Debuchy. Debuchy heads the ball back into the danger area and Welbeck bundles the ball over the line at the second time of asking. 1-0.

Dreadful half but we are 1-0 up. Should be 2-0 up.

Not much to highlight really but Chambers has done well and Coquelin played a few good passes towards the end of the first half.

Oh they will, so we need to keep Giroud on!

Expect Carroll and Arnautovic at some point.

Sheaf, ex-West Ham, is primarily a central midfielder but has played more at centre half for our youth sides over the last few years. He is very good on the ball and is a great set-piece taker.

Better 2nd half but nothing to shout about.
Game of little chances.
Can't think of one decent West Ham chance.

Down side injuries to Coquelin and Giroud.
