We won 5-0 but we were shocking

Seriously was there anything to be excited about?
Sanchez looked like he couldn't be bothered,
Our passing was pedestrian, lacked any invention
Xhaka was worse than useless
We passed backwards more times than I've ever seen

There was literally nothing to be excited about

In fairness we have been poor for most of the season yet we now sit 4th in the league.
Shows what a poor league the prem is.

I read a similar comment from an ex-pro yesterday (I think it was Liverpool @#$% Collymore). It's very debatable, esp. when you consider 5 English have qualified for the next round of the CL (all of them topping their groups and having lost only a couple of games out of 25)

If you cant enjoy how Ozil and Lacazette played tonight then you have no love of Football.
Sure a better team would have taken advantage of the many errors, but they wernt a better team. We are not going to win league so might as well enjoy some very beautiful goals scored as a result of slick and fast passing.
Clearly being better than Totenham is not saying a lot, we are still too far behind Man City to be a contender this year or next.

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.

Unless of course we haven't actually been that poor, and unless our league position is more a reflection on how Arsenal fans exaggerate how bad the team is. Historically this tends to be the case.

What is sad is the best player now is playing for a contract somewhere else, just shameful for a big club to let this happen.

Think of where we will be without the contract rebels!!!

The idea of Iwobi replacing one of them makes me sick and the idea of them leaving for free makes me vomit.

All the announcers put praise on both and the rest are just cast members for their audition for bigger clubs.

I hate this because they hold all the power, with Wenger their puppet.

The football was very boring, we were completely devoid of ideas

Have a day off.

I like a moan about the state of the club/team as much as the next person, but whining about the performance after a 5-0 win is just dumb.

Granted, but that doesn't make up for the mind numbing football in between

Ramsey spent most of his time when kos tried to bring the ball out about 5 feet away from lacazette. I dunno why he is instructed /allowed to do so

If we played poorly and yet won 5-0, I am looking forward to the day the team plays as well as they can.

Players are generally instructed to do what they do position wise.

Yes but they don't always follow. Otherwise you would never find team s out of shape.

Otherwise all players would always be in position. Imho he is too far foward when koshielny /mustafi are looking up and xhaka is closed down. In the games both of them are closer, our build up is better and also helps when a mis pass gives the opposition to the ball.

It helps preventing the miss pass in the first place as defenses have more options when they lookup
