Iwobi Ramsey Kolasinac Bellerin Sanchez were all shocking

Cech was great and the back 3 were awesome.

The rest of the team struggled and we got away with one there, which is justice, since we are always on the other side of it.

Absolutely, no bite in midfield and not many good chances up front. We did improve when Jack came on, but probably just as important that Iwobi went off

Jack should start against Huddersfield since Ozil will not be available. Unless Wenger goes with his team selection based on pecking order.

Agreed.

With Ozil still out I'm confident Wilshere will start. That was a massive opportunity for Iwobi and he blew it.

I hope Jack starts, but we know that Wenger is to loyal to a few players and Iwobi might be in that category.

I wouldn't say he was superb but one of his strengths is his positioning. Yes, he has been beaten by goals perfectly hit in the corner, but those goals many keepers wouldn't have saved it anyway. Unless opponents hit the perfect shot in the corner and with pace, you're probably aint gonna beat Cech. Come on, how many "howlers" had Cech let in?? Bob Wilson talks about perfect positioning and presence, things that you can't really teach, and something that Almunia and Fabianski didn't have. And something that we haven't had since Seaman. Mad Jens has a little of it. But he was mad and therefore you never know if he was gonna do a 'Grobelaar moment'.

I am not going to go into a debate about Cech losing some of his agility or not, but he is a proper, solid keeper, like a Peter Shilton type. I never thought Shilton was the best but with him in goal, you felt assured.

Anyway, Cech is still our best keeper, and still one of the best in the game.

When I said superb I particularly had his positioning in mind, he was also sweeping in front of his goal and getting ball out effectively. He had two good shots to stops and he did it well

Agreed Padre, and that's why he's still a top keeper. Even most top EPL players turned pundits say that Cech is still one of the best in the business. But these are just legends of the game, what do they know.
