Team against Tiny Totts - which players will turn-up and Wenger gets his tactics right?

I will drop Alexis.

Like Vieira after his failed move to Real, he was half-the-man he was and easily rubbed off the ball even by a midget midfielder in 2004. Mobbing around the pitch and wanderlust, picking wool on the pitch in 2004 ... He only came alive in Feb 2005 with astounding stats proving if his head is screwed right he is a leader.

Alexis stats are damning and not trying too hard to score, and never that Duracell Bunny we loved so much during his 1st season with us, tracking back and fighting fore very ball.

I will field a team ready to fight for the badge and knew what it is all about playing Tiny Totts and never being just professional on the pitch like a 9-to-5 job.

We needed Ozil with his creative playmaking and nonchalantly creating 10+ scoring chances in the 1st half before giving up in frustration over the lackluster finishes and lack of intelligent runs from the forward-line. And of course, with an indiscipline Ramsey running into everybody way to get into his goal-scoring positions - pity his finishes is more suitable in a Welsh rugby club.

We have only one creative playmaker - Ozil. And he msut play like a NO. 10, giving a free role with Xhaka-Elneny providing defensive cover behind; and this time, uses Elneny (instead of Coquelin) to man-mark Dele Alii. Elneny is more disciplined and will faithfully follow instruction to break-up plays, win the balls and quickly pass to attacking midfielders instead of pushing forward on the glory road trying to score like an attacking midfielder.

Plus Elneny can slip easily into the Back-Line between any gaps to function as the "3rd CB" way better than Coquelin.

Welbeck should be fit enough to play. We needed his dynamism, movement and commitment to shred Tiny Totts Back-line plus a helping hand in the midfield when fighting for the ball. Welbeck is that Duracell Bunny at left flank we missed when Alexis downed tools.

The key for Xhaka-Elneny is to stop Ericson and Dele Alii from passing and to close down the passing channels between Back-Line when ever our wingbacks are caught high up on the pitch when our attacks breakdown and Tiny Totts go on the counter.

Kane, Son, Ericson and Dele Alii are deadly on the counter if our MDIFIELD does not dominate and stop them from playing.

Like Giroud, we needed Lacazette to put in a defensive shift and press immediately upon losing the ball in Tiny Totts' half. Similarly, Ozil will need to press instantly to prevent Tiny Totts from launching a swift counter-attack in their half.

Dilemma.
Should Wenger drops Ozil for a fired-up Wilshere against Tiny Totts, letting him going hard into Tiny Totts players and them let Ozil be the supersub to destroy a tiring Tiny totts defend after being ran ragged for 70 minutes?
That is,

.............Wilshere......................Welbeck
..............................Lacazette

1-0 to Boring Boring Arsenal with this team?

..................................Cech

...........Koscielny....Mertesacker.....Monreal

...Bellerin.......Xhaka..........Elneny..............Kolasinac

..................Ozil......................Welbeck
..............................Lacazette

Elneny doesn't know how to do all those fancy stuff, merl. Welbeck is injured also seems to be the 2 Harrys n the Dele of spuds are injured too.
So the best tactics is play Alexis in place of Welbeck and Ramsey in place of Elneny n go gungho from the get go trying to get a big result.

If anything happens other than them battering Arsenal it will be a miracle.

Agreed.

We will get beat.

Never thought I'd see the day where everyone is so pessimistic against them at home.

I don’t understand how Xhaka is still getting game time to be honest. Been terrible. At least Coquelin can do the job he’s supposed to very well. Xhaka can’t build up play to a decent standard.

Iwobi scored two for Nigeria yesterday as they beat Argentina 4-1 and Lacazette scored two fro France in the 2-2 draw with Germany. Both in good form - for country at least.

Arsenal 2 0 Tiny Totts (Sm128)(Sm152)(Sm152)

Pity I predicted a 0-0 draw.
