Match Rating against Swansea

6 - Cech - atone for his mistake with a fine point-blank save.
5 - Koscielny - Bart Simpson playing soccer. He is declining.
5 - Bellerin - can't defend, can't cross. Ready-make for Barca.
7 - Mertesacker - can't fault. Playing a Captain's game.
7 - Monreal - our best defender
7 - Kolasinac - a goal, an assist, we can overlook his poor positional sense.
7 - Xhaka - his best game, spreading accurate passes and closing down space.
6 - Ramsey - too selfish and poor tactical awareness and obsessed with scoring.
6 - Alexis - he seems to do just enough but not more than what we expect.
7 - Ozil - some delightdul inter-plays and seems to get more involved.
5 - Lacazette - anonymous and does not seem to fit into the team.

6 - Giroud - keep bustling in the box and a good target-man.
6 - Holding - not too bad, getting his confidence back.

1 - Wenger - for the win, other than that, just sterile and one-dimensional that every manager knew how to counter him.

9 - Clement - sack Bould and employ him as our defensive coordinator. He got his tactics right with 10 men behind the ball and hit us on the break with a physical and pacy Abraham. If his players are the same quality as ours, he will win this game hands down with Wenger looking more and more a hound-dog of a loser.

Notice how hound-dog looking Wenger is and I doubt whether his health can take one season of this scenario with Arsenal fans increasingly turning against him.

I take your point, but lets take the next 10 its a more reliable indicator

- until Wenger moves on, they'll always be the also-rans in the major competitions. A club in elite purgatory. Always good enough to make it to the big race, never fast or smart enough to push over the finish line in first place. That's all about the manager. Until he changes, Arsenal fans will continue to celebrate glorious failure.
