Player ratings vs Everton

Cech - 5 not a lot he could do with the first goal, not a lot to do otherwise generally. Couple of dodgy touches and clearances.bizarre second goal he should have done better with.
Bellerin - 6 not his best game but nothing bad. Went missing a couple of times
Mert- 7 generally solid
Kos - 7 generally solid
Monreal - 6.5 really good game ruined by his mistake for the second Everton goal. Took his goal well
Kolasinac - 6 same as bellerin
Xhaka - 6 messed up for first goal improved after. Great effort to hit the bar.
Ozil - 9 his best game in long time and great goal.
Sanchez - 8 played well, a little selfish at times scored to goal he craved.
Ramsey - 9 brilliant my MOTM but could easily have been ozil.
Lacazette - 8 took his goal well could have had a couple more. He needed that goal.

Wilshere -7 not on long but did well got s great assist
Coquelin - not on long enough.

Overall our best performance of the season by a mile.

Ozil MOTM, it's not even a debate.

Yes and you obviously don't have a clue about football; Look at your laughable rating of Monreal!

Just my opinion. I did say it could also easily have been ozil

What's wrong with Monreal? He gave a goal away needlessley.

I'm sire you think that's entirely cech fault though right?

Absolutely right, created 8 chances the most in a prem game this season, a great goal, at least one assist and involved in a lot of cutting edge football.

5 - Cech - Lack of concentration for 90 minutes.

5 - Bellerin - He is stagnating and shown no improvement from last season.

7 - Mert - generally solid
7 - Kos - generally solid
6 - Monreal - really good game ruined by his mistake for the second Everton goal. Took his goal well.

6 - Kolasinac - was rather anonymous.

6 - Xhaka - wrong slot as defensive midfielder with Ramsey given a free role.

9 - Ozil - best game in long time and proved a mercenary who played when he felt like it.

7 - Sanchez - played well, a little selfish and obsessed with scoring.

6 - Ramsey - given a free role and left Xhaka holding the can behind. Mediocre passing and poor shooting technique.

6 - Lacazette - start wondering is he another Gervinho or Chamakh, started with a bang and ended up with a whimper.

6 - Wilshere - not on long but did well, got a great assist and off the pace.

4 - Coquelin - dumb jackass who gave away the only freekick in a dangerous position. Reason why he is a liability with a poodlebrain.

How can you ignore his poor shooting and weak passes in last third?

He does loads more than that very underrated by our fans.

He is just a typical hard-running and hard-charging box-to-box midfielders in the 1990s without a good passing range and poor shooting technique.
Admittedly, he is one of those rare footballer with an instinctive run into goal scoring position in the box and a fine anticipation of where the final balls will end in the box.

But how times he ignored the runs of Lacazette?
How times he had poor tactical awareness and did not play through a team-mate in a better scoring position?

Ramsey will be a star in mid-table premiership teams but never a great player in marquee clubs like ManU, Liverpool, Chelski, Man City, Tiny Totts and Arsenal.

He simply lacks peripheral vision, poor passing skillset and worse, poor shooting technique as an attacking box-to-box midfielder with an expectation of scoring 10+ goals per season like Overmars, Pires, Ljungberg, Beckham, Scoles, Gerrard, Lampard, David Silva, De Bruyne and any No. 8 given a free role to roam the midfield and drive into the box..

"The idea is to be more unpredictable every year and be more difficult for the opponents to stop and nullify what we want to do. That’s what we have now, especially at the back and in the midfield the options we have, to open up the spaces, we have many more options than we had last year.” Mikel Arteta

He is obviously far more than that we are better when he plays as we are when Jack is in the team. The eternal passing with no product ends when Jack plays he makes things happen.
